The Fonds Afro-Entrepreneurs offers a support program for entrepreneurs from Quebec’s black communities. Through this program, entrepreneurs have access to professional services for management and governance consulting on a variety of subjects, such as:
Terms of support
The Fonds Afro-Entrepreneurs can provide financial assistance for up to 80% of the cost of an intervention. Financial assistance may not exceed $5,000. In the case of a structuring and formalization plan, the maximum amount is $3,000.
Intervention must be limited to a strategic function of the company or to support it in an important phase of its development. Salaries of company employees, acquisition of fixed assets or financing of day-to-day operations are not eligible expenses.
