Montreal-based Brown Diva Dolls distributes dolls with dark, atypical skin. In addition to dolls available in three different sizes, it’s also possible to buy clothes to dress them up.
Through its dolls, Brown Diva Dolls aims to help the new generation of children cultivate their self-esteem, as well as their acceptance of others. The dolls offered reflect great diversity, enabling children of all skin colors to identify with them. In addition to being toys that represent the image of children from Afro communities, the dolls can also be used as educational tools, helping to create a more inclusive society.
Our funding will enable Brown Diva Dolls to continue to grow by acquiring inventory and raising its visibility through a marketing campaign.
