Pâtisserie Noisette et Chocolat, located in Greenfield Park on Montreal’s South Shore, was founded in December 2021 by Marc David Jean and his wife Sophia Najem, two food enthusiasts originally from Haiti. After investing in a hair salon to accumulate funds, the couple finally realized their dream of opening a bakery. Within the first year, the business quickly gained popularity, attracting not only local residents but also customers from Montreal and other regions.
“We’re very grateful for the support Afro-Entrepreneurs has given us, and we’d like to thank this fine team for their confidence in our project. It was a pleasant and quick process thanks to the dedicated work of Ismaïla, who was available and gave good advice throughout the application. We are extremely happy and proud to be able to continue to participate in special events for families in our community, with stunning and decadent desserts.”
